ISO 45001:2018 Certification
Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSMS)
ISO 45001 is an international standard for occupational health and safety management systems (OHSMS). It provides a framework for organizations to manage and improve their occupational health and safety performance and prevent work-related injuries, illnesses, and fatalities. The standard was published in March 2018 and replaced OHSAS 18001 as the internationally recognized standard for OHSMS.
ISO 45001 outlines the requirements for an effective OHSMS, including policies, procedures, and processes for identifying, assessing, and controlling occupational health and safety risks. It also emphasizes the importance of worker participation and consultation, and requires organizations to continually monitor and evaluate their OHSMS to identify opportunities for improvement.
By implementing ISO 45001, organizations can demonstrate their commitment to protecting the health and safety of their employees, contractors, and other stakeholders, and improve their overall business performance through reduced absenteeism, increased productivity, and improved reputation.
